Offering private lessons in guitar to students of all ages and levels.
A bit about my approach:
-I teach everyone to read music on the guitar, and cover the basics of both fingerstyle and pick technique.
-I teach contemporary styles alongside traditional, classical methods, to keep students engaged and expand their horizons.
-I emphasize healthy playing techniques which help to reduce tension while playing the instrument and allow for a lifetime of enjoying the guitar.
-I try to find what motivates each student and use that to communicate a love for the guitar and for many different styles of music in general.
Cost: $30/30 minutes, $45/45 minutes, $60/60 minutes
Lessons are available in San Francisco, Walnut Creek, Angwin, or your location by arrangement. I am willing to travel reasonable distances to reach students, though sometimes this will involve an additional charge.
